Wor(l)dly Crossovers

Anything and everything is a matter of concern. Excess of concern over anything becomes an intrusion. Be it into someone’s cliché-ed personal space or into one’s own otherwise empty workshop. Excess of intrusion is again a matter of great concern. The fine line between intrusion & concern is very much like the blanket of fine lines on our façade. Injecting a (painful) botox of wisdom to distinguish between is not a common treatment unlike the traditional cosmetic beautification packages offered. Indeed there is no cosmetic coverage for the mind. You are what you do of what-you-think. Your actions are ‘you’. Ultimately you can be on only one of the sides. If you claim to be able to stay on-the-line, forget it! I call it MIST- a Momentary Intoxication due to Substandard Thoughts. Have you ever seen a drunken fella walk a straight line? We are all drunk and sloshed in our thoughts and we begin to think we ARE.

Every thought is no idea. Again it’s the degree of certainty of the ‘being of our thought’ that makes it an idea. Purpose defines and decides this certainty. For instance, planning a holiday is a thought. But acting on ways to make a memorable one is an idea. A thought is potential whereas an idea is kinetic. A rivulet can lead to a pond. Likewise a pond can overflow and choose a direction for itself. We ought to ‘be’ our ideas rather than being our thoughts, both of which are unlimited.

What is imagination? It the result of ‘ideas raised to the power of n’, with a tinge of doubt on the certainty of its being and is usually based on a logic. A belief is just a multiplication of thoughts with a strong certainty. The outcome of a belief may be in effect positive or negative depending on ideas again. You may imagine all that you believe but cannot always believe what you imagine. ‘Imagine’ that you can fly and ‘believe’ you can drive!

Our death is also a switch to another plane. Its not and end to life, but a new beginning. We need not imagine or believe our own death. Working out ‘ideas’ to die sounds crazy. But on a serious note, our purpose is to die. Why not make the process a memorable one when in fact we die every day and every second. Let us live every moment completely since we know we die ‘that moment’ of our life. Afterall our life and death is a balance sheet statement. Ideally for it to tally, living every moment must equate to dying every moment!
